PARKS:
City Park
The Leoti City Park located at N and 2nd Street has an old city charm with its stone wall and stone picnic shelter. Offering horseshoe pits, a paved walking trail and playground equipment, it’s perfect for family gatherings.
Tyler M. Graff Memorial Park
7th and J Street
This park was dedicated in memory of Tyler M. Graff on August 3, 2019. Honoring his life as a farmer, coach, and volunteer firefighter, and involvement with and love for youth, it features a playground fire truck and tractor, a basketball court, and more. The fire truck play equipment has his number painted on it. The tractor is green for his favorite farm equipment. The swings are purple for his love of K-State. Tyler’s park is made especially for young children with its shorter basketball goals, an Expressions swing, a Comet, and a “trike track” with painted lines, surrounding the play equipment where kids can race their tricycles. A picnic table and benches are available for families, too. More development is planned in the future for families to enjoy for many years to come-stay tuned!
Wichita County Park
5th Street and Earl
Enjoy many hours of play on the all-inclusive playground equipment for families, including a Mom-and-baby Expressions swing and those that make active play accessible for those with disabilities. This park also features a basketball court, soccer court, tennis court, sand volleyball court, and a paved walking trail (approximately ¼ mile) around the perimeter. There is a large covered permanent picnic shelter in the center of the park, as well as covered picnic tables available adjacent to the shelter. These are first come, first serve for family gatherings and community events.
